About Our Family

The Magnusson-Lawsing families came to America as 17th century English Puritans to Massachusetts; 18th century English Quakers to Pennsylvania and french-speaking Dutch Protestants to the Hudson River Valley; and 19th century Icelanders to Minnesota.   Some participated in the great events in the Republic’s history, and all more or less imbued education, industry and cultural advancement.
